People’s Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba (RUDN University) and PhosAgro hereby invite bachelors, master and postgraduate students as well as young scientists to take part in International BRICS School “From soil fertility management to sustainable agriculture” that will be held online from November 11 to 29, 2024
The school is organized by the RUDN University in collaboration with PhosAgro and with the support of BRICS Network University.
The School aims to address the critical challenges faced in agricultural systems across BRICS nations. This interdisciplinary program focuses on enhancing soil health and fertility through innovative practices that promote long-term sustainability. Participants will engage in hands-on workshops, lectures from leading experts, and collaborative projects that emphasize the importance of ecological balance, resource efficiency, and socio-economic impacts of agriculture. The program is designed for students, researchers and practitioners
who seek to transform agricultural practices and contribute to food security and environmental sustainability.
Participants will learn how to create more productive and sustainable agricultural systems that will contribute to economic growth, improve food security and conserve natural resources.
The School will include:
Lectures and seminars by lead scientists and practitioners arranged in
topical blocks
Joint preparation of the interdisciplinary project for defence
Formal defence of the project
Closing ceremony: the participants will be sent an official certificates
